Outschool is brilliant for kids 3-18. Live small-group classes, niche topics, real teachers — there's nothing else quite like it for K-12 enrichment. (Outschool serves 1M+ kids, per May 2026 site data.)

Every other week someone searches "Outschool for adults" and lands on the homepage and bounces. There is no adult version. The Outschool model — live small group, niche, teacher-led — never got built for grownups.

I'm Delin, building TRADDE solo. TRADDE *is* the adult version. Different mechanic, same core: live, small-group or 1:1, taught by real humans.

What TRADDE does that mirrors Outschool

The mechanic difference: Outschool teachers are paid per learner. TRADDE teachers are paid in ⚡ Sparks per completed swap (or USD-equivalent via paid Coach mode). Both are sustainable; TRADDE's model just removes the per-class price tag for learners.

Why "adult Outschool" hasn't existed

Two reasons, mostly:

1. Adults won't pay $30/class the way parents will. Outschool's per-class price floor doesn't survive contact with adult willingness-to-pay for self-improvement.
2. Adults don't have parents booking them in. The buyer is also the learner, so the conversion economics are completely different.

TRADDE's answer: remove the price tag (replace it with a bilateral swap), gamify the accountability (⚡ Sparks), and let creators monetize via opt-in Coach mode if they want.
